You’ve probably heard us extol the virtues of our rugby-weight Practice Cloth. Its strong weave and high-quality cotton make it crisp and durable, and if you own any of the various products we make from it every season, you’re familiar with how well it stands up to wear and washing. This spring we’ve also used the heavier, 12-oz version to make a striped chore coat. The inspiration comes from the colorful patterns of striped denim plentiful in the 80’s (especially in womenswear), which lend themselves to the yarn-dyed, engineered stripes Practice Cloth does so well.
