Noah is looking for a financial controller to start in January 2025. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work 1-2 days remotely and 3-4 days a week in person at our Soho office.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the owners and General Manager (giving all necessary financial analysis and feedback) to drive profitability and revenue growth
- Coordination with Owners and General Manager to shape and articulate strategy and goals for the Company – shaping corresponding budgets
- Creation and Management of Yearly and Monthly P&L Budgets
- Monthly and Yearly Cash Forecasting – working with GM, marketing, e-commerce, production, HR, and management teams to aggregate information and update forecasts
- Management of accurate and on-time bookkeeping
- Coordination with accountants for all necessary tax filings
- Coordination with investors, providing all essential financial updates
- Main point of reference with banks and financial institutions
- Main point of reference with License partners for all financial matters
- Overseeing AP – and accurate updated integration into monthly closing
- Overseeing AR – and accurate updated integration into monthly closing
- Efficient management of Inventory + buys for the DTC channel
- Overseeing and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Overseeing and managing any credit lines and loans the company may need from time to time and ensuring most efficient payback
- Overseeing payroll company and HR Coordinator for all personnel issues.
Qualifications:
- Strong financial planning experience, specifically with companies with $20M in volume or less that have undergone fast growth
- Entrepreneurial character
- Ability and experience in working with creative minds
- Good communicator and team player.
