Features: Supersoft, double-sided, brushed twill. Lightweight density and flexible warmth
Descended from Navy-issue CPO shirt-jackets, heavyweight flannels used to be easier to find, with vibrant plaid versions filling out the outerwear offerings of the Sears catalogues of the 60’s and 70’s. They’re as useful as ever, and offer a rugged, lightweight layer you can throw on and be active in when it gets chilly. This double-sided, brushed twill is one of the best heavy flannels we’ve come across, and offers all the heat-trapping density of comparable wool-blend fabrics while remaining extremely soft and pliable.
