Though this fabric is a blend of wool and linen, it wears lighter than you might expect. Fine yarns and an open weave allow air to move freely, while the linen adds strength and a dry hand. It is breathable, durable, and well-suited to extended wear across seasons. Both fibers naturally wick moisture, making it especially comfortable to wear.

It was woven in Yorkshire, England at a heritage mill established in 1910, one we have often turned to for fine suiting. Here, we were drawn to something less traditional. The plaid carries a sense of play, but the quality of the cloth keeps it grounded and elevated.

What makes it even more special is its construction. The pattern is yarn dyed, with different designs running through the warp and weft, requiring a process that takes even more time and care. We used it to elevate familiar pieces like our varsity jacket and six panel hat, bringing tailoring quality to everyday forms.
