• Woven label on back self fabric locker loop. We often employ Madras patterns on more sturdy fabrics, but this featherlight, 3 oz shirting is probably closest in character to the original Madras brought over from India
• The difference is that, instead of Madras' traditional gauzy construction that wrinkles easily and is prone to tears, this is a sophisticated shirting fabric that's more densely knit of ultra-fine cotton yarns, making it more resilient and vibrant.
