Chances are that if you skate in New York, you have come across something our friend Pat Smith has designed, built and installed. Maybe it was the quarter-pipe to wallride at Blue Park or the 20' flat-bar rail under the Kosciuszko Bridge. We even had him build the bowl for us at our debut pop-up store 7 years ago. When he's not building commercial sets or running Coda Skateboards, he's giving back to skateboarding and creating fun and unique features for the New York skate community to enjoy. We caught up with Pat recently and asked him about his fascination with curbs and how they have ignited so much progression in street skating to this day. Watch the video above to learn more of what goes into Pat's processes and inspirations.
