It's not clear how Batman tees came to be associated with skating, but it always felt like Steve Caballero single-handedly made them cool. They were often available at skate shops, particularly ones that advertised in the back of Thrasher in the mid-80s. It wasn't anything anyone questioned–it was just accepted as part of the landscape. It didn’t even feel like you had to be a comic-book person to appreciate the graphic. We pay tribute to a great logo and its place in the world of skateboarding.
