199 Mulberry
Cloth is everything. In order to pay homage to the fine cloths in our suiting category we have created 199 Mulberry. We start with the best fabrics from mills we love, often choosing a very traditional cloth and build from there. Our guiding principle is simple: if the cloth is beautiful and the piece fits well, it will be great. We’re using better cloth because it holds up, looks better, and feels right.

Our suits are for people who choose to get dressed, who enjoy the act of putting something on because it feels right, not out of chore or performance.
The whole idea behind our suiting comes from the punk rock mindset of breaking the rules and making it yours. That phrase alone says it all: there’s no strict formula. Just because we craft these suits a certain way doesn’t mean you have to wear them that way. It’s about knowing the rules well enough to break them with intention and style.
It's not about creating a whole new world, but giving our customers a space where the context is clear and where suiting and refined objects feel at home. For those who already understood what we were doing, nothing changes. But for everyone else, this might be the invitation they’ve been waiting for.

The shop comes to life with the rotating partners Noah is choosing to work with that further the experience of the space. The shop will be carefully curated with art by Curtis Kulig and Paul Ferney, scents by Costa Brazil and Cerato, vintage watches provided by Alan Bedwell of Foundwell, and lamps available from Steffany Trần of Vyvoi. Any adornment that beautifies 199 is available for purchase and will constantly be rotating in the shop.
If you've never worn a suit, this might be the way in. And if you've worn suits your whole life, this might be a way to fall back in love with them. They're playful but considered, casual but elevated. Our suits live in a space that's hard to define and that’s exactly where we like to be.
