We love timelessness and things that don’t come in-and-out of style, but also make us take time to be present in the moment. That’s why printed matter is something that always draws our attention to the big picture in a moment of contemplation, rather than things that get often get lost in the endless digital scroll.
Mark Custer is a 24-year-old photographer from Washington, D.C. and has been photographing for Noah since the brand’s inception. Many of the shoots were done autonomously with his vast network of friends and collaborators. It gives his work a candid, casual authenticity rooted in skateboarding but clearly transcends beyond it.
"Oftentimes companies will hire photographers but have them shoot from a brand perspective instead of their own," says Brendon Babenzien. "We wanted to give Mark the opportunity to show us his unique viewpoint."
We have compiled a series of previously unseen photos into a small print run of books by Friend Editions. The book will be available as of Friday, November 18 exclusively at our 195 Mulberry Flagship store, where Mark will be signing copies.
