Functional running gear has been part of Noah's product line since we opened our doors, and this season is no different. As temperatures drop, lightweight, water-resistant nylon offers the kind of weather protection that can keep you comfortable without weighing you down, and helps get you out there on days when you might otherwise be tempted to stay in.
This season, we've made our Cheetah Running Jacket, Track Pants, and Runner hat from ECONYL®, a 100% recycled nylon fabric we can't help but be impressed by. It's made from everything from landfill plastic bottles to industrial carpeting scraps. Perhaps most importantly, a percentage of its content also comes from ghost nets. These are the abandoned industrial fishing nets that plague the world's oceans, trapping wildlife of all sorts in their non-biodegradable webs.
Since we're actively trying to use materials that help mitigate this kind of adverse human impact on ocean ecosystems, ECONYL® is an obvious choice. It also happens to be very high quality: its high-tech cleaning and regeneration process produces a fabric every bit as pure, strong, and lightweight as regular nylon.
We've backed this up with functional details. Both the jacket and pants are lined with nylon mesh to keep air moving over your skin. Along with the half-zip front and stand collar, the jacket's lateral back vent, underarm eyelets, and adjustable shockcord hem help regulate temperature. Zip pockets keep your phone and other valuables secure, and velcro closures make for easy manipulation while running.
Even if you're not particularly fast, the cheetah print will make you look like you are.
