New York Cares is a well-run nonprofit that in addition to meeting pressing community needs by developing service programs and mobilizing 52,000 New Yorkers in volunteer service each year, has also developed a highly coordinated, city-wide program to effectively match those in need with coats that fit. The annual statistics are impressive:

• Over 1100 corporate and civic groups start drives among their families, friends, colleagues and customers
• New York Cares arranges roughly 300 coat drop-off locations throughout New York's five boroughs, as well as across Long Island and upstate
• Hundreds of volunteers sort the coats at New York Care's warehouse, a process that takes nearly 2,000 hours of work. The coats are then distributed through a network of nonprofit social service agencies, public schools, religious organizations, and transitional housing shelters

As anyone who's experienced a NYC winter knows, life becomes nearly impossible without a decent coat. New York Care's effectiveness at reaching vulnerable populations across the city means they've provided over 2 million coats to people who need them over the last 31 years of the drive.

Noah is proud to be a participating drop-off location this year. From December 4th through January 30th, drop off any new or gently used coat at our flagship store at 195 Mulberry Street in Soho and receive a 20% discount for a single in-store purchase. You will also receive our annual commemorative Coat Drive patch.

Once you ship your donated coat to us, please send an email to info@noahny.com with the subject heading COAT DRIVE. Include your name, a tracking number for the shipment, and a mailing address where we can send this year's Coat Drive patch. After receiving your donated coat by mail, we will send out a 20% discount code unique to your email address that can be used for a single order from our online store. The code will be valid for three months from the date it is issued.
