Descended from Navy-issue CPO shirt-jackets, heavyweight flannels used to be a common sight, with vibrant plaid versions popular in the 60’s and 70’s. This double-sided, brushed twill is one of the best heavy flannels we’ve come across, because it offers the density of wool in a soft cotton you’ll always want next to your skin.
This season, we use this fabric in two different patterns - a lower key pastel version, and one whose bold colors give the plaid almost a low res feel when you see the pattern up close. We also made it into a pair of flannel shorts - a style that skaters who were around in the 80’s will know well.
