Book bans are not new, but they’re rising at a rapid rate in school districts across America, driven by new laws and regulations limiting the kinds of books children can access. This Banned Books Week, October 1-7, 2023, we partnered with Penguin Random House on a tee to further awareness of the issue. Gross sales from this tee will go to PEN America, a non-profit that stands at the intersection of literature and human rights to protect open expression in the United States and worldwide.
